Our firm:
Our firm was founded in 1994 by David H. Black, William F. Rogers, Jr., and H.L. Ruth III. Black remains a partner today, and has been joined over the years by current partners Steven A. Grossman and Aimee E. Cain.
We offer a wide range of legal services to the citizens of Cabarrus County and surrounding communities. We practice before all state courts and are also admitted to practice before various federal courts.
While maintaining a general civil and criminal trial practice, we focus on family, business, and insurance law together with wills and estate planning and offer complete residential and commercial title examination and closing-related services.
We are committed to providing services in a timely and courteous manner. Our support staff is experienced and knowledgeable, and places a particular emphasis on customer service.
Our attorneys are involved in many community and professional organizations and activities. We have served as president of the local and district bar associations, and have been active in many bar-related areas. We have served as volunteers or directors for the Boys & Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Cabarrus Mediation Center, Teen Court, American Red Cross, ARC of Cabarrus County, and many other church and civic organizations. We give back to the community in terms of charitable giving, pro-bono practice, leadership roles in volunteer groups and organizations, and community service.
